During this visit we further developed the movement material of our piece “Vagabond”\, facilitated two workshops for the performers of Sala Fenix\, and built a transition from Saine Ensemble’s piece to Sala Fenix’ piece.“Vagabond” draws inspiration from the painting “The Raft of the Medusa” (1818-1819) by Theodore Gericault and the events that the painting depicts: a shipwreck on the coast of Mauritania in 1816.
